OPP Wars: Corruption
This is a satire video game, kind of like GTA but in text. Nothing is real.
OPP Wars is a text-based RPG inspired by old school BBS games, such as Legend of the Red Dragon but for designed for a modern age.
You are a police officer. There is a basic combat system where you can earn experience and cash by fighting homeless people. Combat and rewards scale with your level. You can also buy drugs for combat boosts, hang out in a red room to restore health and participate in other nefarious activities.
Update November 13, 2025:
There is now a karma system. Random events now have a chance to occur instead of a battle, where you have the choice between paragon and renegade decisions.
If you have too many paragon points, the police try to murder you. Too many renegade points… free drugs and extra kids…
There will also be a class system added soon, it is done, but I’m adding the super abilities for them to combat.
Just like in Legend of the Red Dragon… Except better…
You can play it in the terminal on Linux, Windows or macOS.
I’m programming it in Golang!
The game is very early in development.
